Presidential Campaign Support Committee

Proposal 215, under consideration by the National Committee, would seem to codify regulations to be used in the next Presidential Season.

Those who believe that the national party did make a serious mistake by nominating David Cobb in 2004 would do well to watch what's going on, for many believe that it was at exactly this juncture that rules were established which made Nader's seeking the nomination less likely, and helped in securing the nomination for Cobb. If that is true, now would seem the appropriate time to begin watching to be sure it doesn't happen again.

I'm not saying that anything untoward happened. I'm saying that if you believe shennagins happened in 2004, now is the time to keep the same thing from happening in 2008...and I believe Proposal 215 is the beginning of the process, and as such, is deserving of attention now, so we can avoid conflicts in the heat of the campaign.
