Mind boggling

Proposal 216 is designed to establish reasonable rules for impeaching members of the national Steering Committee.

Again, why was Jones allowed to "serve" for so long without doing anything? Anita Rios was AWOL for extended periods of time while she served on the SC, and Marnie Glickman made all sorts of promises about her fund-raising abilities when elected to the Steering Committee, but she accomplished precious little during her tenure on the SC, and was unable or unwilling to alter her schedule to allow her to participate fully.

Maybe going to law school and trying to lead a national political party at the same time is not such a great idea afterall?

So long as the National Convention is willing to elect poor quality leadership, we will all suffer for it. If you have good leadership skills, and I have already made it clear that I do not, then please offer yourself for a slot on the Steering Committee. No where else do we need more dedicated, diligent and dedicated Greens than in that role.

Nothing but opinions today it would seem. :-) There's nothing behind the "Read more!" link, so save yourself the time of hitting it.
