A few brief comments
First off, there is nothing behind the "Read more!" link, so don't bother.
Secondly, as I mentioned earlier, I have been appointed to the Media Committee. My focus will be on getting Greensweek back out.
I am amazed at the amount of work the Media Committee gets done. Not only do they respond to requests for help from states and candidates, they actively seek out opportunities to help those folks. I suppose it should seem obvious that the national media committee would try to help states and candidates, but I am still impressed. If a Green Party is not getting it's share of media coverage, it can only be because they have not made the media committee aware of their news.
Hopefully we will have a workable plan for Greensweek and soon.
Thirdly, I owe Owen Broadhurst an apology. He wrote a position on affordable housing, which I promised to link to. It sits in my Yahoo! "inbox". I have been 100% totally covered up lately, and just have not gotten to it yet, but will.
There are so many issues and topics. Like looking at your inbox and seeing a thousand unread emails and realizing that none are spam...*sigh*
Nothing I can do about the past though, eh? So, hopefully tomorrow, I'll have Owen's piece up.
Finally, in addition to my appointment to the International and Media Committees, I have been appointed as an observer of the National Committee by my state. Of course, all these posts are at the pleasure of the state, so I could vanish from them at any time without a trace. *Grin* Here though, I am in control. ~Evil chuckle~
The point is that, as an observer, I can see what the National Committee is up to, and report on it here. I note briefly here that Owen Broadhurst has expressed concerns about a current proposal, and I also note with continuing frustration that issues formally brought up for discussion and a vote simply are pulled from discussion when they don't seem to be going well. At least that's what seems to happen from where I sit. Now I will have a better perch to watch from.
That's it for now gang.
Love,
Gregg
