Green or independent?
An article at the Marin Independent Journal says that Rep. McKinney has registered to vote in Sausalito, a wonderful community, and has done so as "declined to state", or in essence, independent.
This article at the San Jose Mercury News is a re-run of an AP story that says Rep. McKinney registered in CA several months ago, but makes no mention of how she is registered.
I *thought* I had read that Rep. McKinney had registered as a Green. I sure hope I am right. For me personally, I am fine with someone registered independent seeking our nomination, but for many Greens, this would represent a stumbling block.
