BYU question: Nader, or Cheney?
There was a time when Ralph Nader would be any college's choice for a commencement speaker, or at least a lot of schools. I assume he gets requests to this day. So do any number of high profile folks.
Vice President Cheney apparently asked for an opportunity to give the commencement address at Brigham Young University.
According to a report on the Deseret News, a group of students there have asked Ralph to speak, giving them an "alternative commencement address".
I know where I would go!
