Good afternoon,

As you may know by now, our brother, friend and comrade, Bro. Chris Crowder, was taken from us during the early morning hours of this past Saturday, July 8. He and another brother were shot; the other brother has been listed as still in critical condition.

This terrible tragedy has been in the news for the past few days. In some news reports, Bro. Chris has been described as, "the candidate for mayor in a wheel chair." Bro. Chris planned to run for mayor as a candidate with the DC Statehood Green Party.
