Just in case you need another piece of email
I've been thinking on and off again about how I can use my time and talents, such as they are, to promote the Green Party and Green Values.
One thing I want to do is continue to push the Green Party in the United States to live up to our potential, and to the Ten Key Values.
With that in mind I have set up a subscription listserve. With that listserve I will send out one email a week, with requests for actions to be taken to advance the Green Agenda as I see it. For example, in the weekly mailing you might get a request to send a comment to a Green Party committee co-chair, or to a state party's leadership, or to a member of the media.
Here's how I put it at the Yahoo Groups webpage.
The Green Party is based on the Four Pillars and Ten Key Values. This email list is for readers of Green News and Opinion who want a weekly update on actions by Greens across the nation with the goal of encouraging the Green Party to stay dedicated to these values. Subscribers to this listserve will be asked to contact people to push the Green agenda. As such it is both an information source and a guide to action. Of course, any subscriber is free to take or ignore the recommended action. Because this is more or less an announcement list, there will be no back-and-forth debate on the list. One mailing a week. That's it. Debate can be carried forward at the blog.
If you want to sign up for the list, just click here to subscribe, or visit the link I have set up at the bottom of the page and plug in your preferred email address.
Since I assume everyone who subscribes is already plugged in, I will never pass the email list on to anyone, but will keep it to myself.

Seems like this would be the perfect project for Green Commons, and have the additional advantage of being public, open and transparent. Give it some thought, I can work with you to set up something that can also be emailed out to your list.
