At first I thought that Jared Ball was just a guy that the Green "leadership" was getting behind. On reading the posts in the link you put up, I see that he could, probably would, link us to the diversity that we need to grow as a party.
The other reason I could support Ball over some of the other announced and un-announced candidates is that he is a member of the Green Party. Now if only Cynthia McKinney would join us...
