Keffer to Pelosi: No Free Ride!
Krissy Keefer announced that she was taking on Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic Party House Leader, in the race for US House of Representatives from California's Eight District. An article in the San Francisco Sentinel Taking particular aim at Pelosi's refusal to consider impeachment or censure of President Bush.
But Keefer, a long time activist, is also calling for the litany of Green issues, from real effective support for the Kyoto Accords to ending the war on Iraq to support for community arts programs, Keefer is upholding a fine Green tradition of standing up and being counted.
